Nutra and e-commerce: merchant accounts, high-risk acquiring, VAT OSS and supplier contracts
Sellers of supplements, cosmetics, COD and subscription products, dropshipping in the EU and the US. We open acquiring for product categories standard PSPs will not take, register the company and VAT where you sell, and write terms that hold up in chargeback disputes.
The tasks clients came to us with
A nutra brand with subscriptions: acquiring after Stripe closed the account
Stripe closed the account over the product category and the chargeback rate. We set up a Cypriot company, assembled a pack for high-risk acquirers (processing history, refund policy, the terms), and connected two acquirers with a 10% reserve instead of 20%. Sales resumed in six weeks, and chargebacks fell thanks to rewritten terms and a subscription policy.
VAT OSS and an EU warehouse for a dropshipper selling in 14 countries
The seller shipped from a warehouse in Poland to customers in 14 EU countries without a VAT registration. We registered an Estonian company in the OSS, obtained a Polish VAT number for the warehouse, and rebuilt the fulfilment agreement and the customer terms. The tax risk was closed and the margin became predictable.
Selling on Amazon US through a Hong Kong company: structure, tax, account
A brand manufactured in China sold on Amazon US through the founder’s Ukrainian company, with restrictions on payouts. We set up a Hong Kong company for purchasing and a US LLC for sales, drafted the agreement between them, opened the accounts and registered for sales tax in the states above the threshold. Amazon payouts now go to a corporate account and the US tax is calculated.
