Affiliate marketing: a company, accounts for payouts and tax on traffic income
Arbitrage teams, affiliate networks, media buyers in gambling, nutra and finance. We make sure network payouts land in an account that will not be frozen, and that the tax on that income is calculated rather than postponed.
The tasks clients came to us with
A team of 12 buyers: one company for network payouts and contracts with the buyers
Payouts from five networks were landing on the founder’s personal cards and the buyers worked without contracts. We set up an Estonian company, opened two EMI accounts for different network types, and put the buyers on B2B contracts with a proper description of services. The networks re-signed with the company, and the founder stopped being personally liable for the whole turnover.
An affiliate licence for regulated markets and a contract with the operator
An affiliate was entering the UK and Greek gambling markets, where affiliate registration or licensing is required. We obtained the registration, rewrote the operator agreement to the regulator’s advertising rules, and prepared a responsible-advertising policy. The operator confirmed the partnership and traffic to the regulated markets went live.
A holding for an affiliate network paying out to 30 countries
The network paid webmasters in 30 countries from one company and could not explain the nature of the payments to the bank. We separated the structure: a Cypriot company for advertiser contracts, a UAE company for webmaster payouts under an agency agreement, and a webmaster vetting policy. The bank raised the limits and the group’s tax burden became predictable.
